Lu Di Hè is renowned in Shanghai as a premiere performer of the ancient Chinese instrument known as the Gu Zheng.

     While performing professionally in Shanghai, her skill and reputation as a performer were recognized by the Chinese government. She was asked on many occasions to give command performances for visiting world leaders including:

• United States President William Clinton

• United States President Richard Nixon

• German President Dr. Richard von Weizsäker

• The King and Queen of Nepal
